Coopservice, as part of the Digital Transformation of its services, has developed the Digital Twin project: a line of research and innovation aimed at creating an information model for building and plant assets, capable of optimising global service processes in the health sector.

A digital twin that reproduces the physical characteristics of the assets, supporting static information (data sheets, documentation, maintenance schedules, ...) and dynamic information (event reporting, maintenance history tracking, sensors and actuators referencing, ...).

The heart of Digital Twin is a three-dimensional BIM model of the building and installations, including all the information, which becomes an essential tool for contractual transactions and decision sharing.

The Coopservice Digital Twin platform resides on the cloud and is accessible by all users who can easily monitor and control, in addition to the 3D model and floor plans, energy performance data or open a maintenance ticket for a facility.

An important added value is the fact that the BIM model is connected to the Coopservice management system but is based on interoperable formats: at the end of the management cycle, the owner of the asset will remain in possession of the model and will be able to implement it with other platforms.

A concrete example is the Digital Twin project realised for the Hospital of Castelfranco Veneto, in which the process of census of the real estate registry is implemented in BIM. Documents (plans, technical reports, component maintenance sheets, etc.), information gathered in the field, master data and metric surveys are integrated here and made available to authorised users for management.
