Our Ethical Code
In order to promote the culture of transparency and correctness in the corporate context and in daily operations, Coopservice encourages all employees to know and consequently comply with the Management Models, regulations and corporate procedures, requesting compliance and providing, in the event of non-compliance, appropriate checks and, where appropriate, disciplinary sanctions. Since the prevention and control of the actions performed are activities that are entrusted to all employees and not only to the functions and bodies assigned to this task by law or by the internal organisation, Coopservice encourages anyone - including its own personnel, partners, suppliers, collaborators, - who becomes aware of possible violations of the Law and/or regulations and/or company procedures to report such violations to the functions assigned to this task, ensuring their careful and effective management.
Wanting to further implement its own reference documents, the highest standards of reference and in application of art.5 paragraph 1 letter e) of Legislative Decree 24/2023, as well as in application of EU Directive 2019/1937, concerning the protection of the authors of reports of crimes or irregularities of which they have become aware in the context of their employment relationship (so-called “Whistleblowing”), Coopservice has established a Whistleblowing reporting system to protect the confidentiality of those involved and to guarantee protection from possible retaliation.
It is possible to make a report when there is a risk that, in the context of the work activities carried out for Coopservice, a circumstance occurs that could lead to the potential violation of the national and European Union regulatory provisions provided for in art. 1 of Legislative Decree 24/2023.
Coopservice has set up an appropriate reporting channel to ensure the confidentiality of the identity of the reporter, the persons involved and any other persons mentioned, as well as the proper processing of personal data included in the report as provided for in Article 4 of Legislative Decree 24/2023 in application of EU Directive 2019/1937.
It is possible to make a report by accessing the dedicated computer platform Coopservice Whistleblowing (https://coopservice.whistletech.online) by selecting the context referred to Coopservice.
It is also possible to request a direct meeting with the function identified for the management of reports, again through the use of the IT platform, declaring that they wish to take advantage of the institution of whistleblowing in order to keep their identity confidential and benefit from the protections provided by Legislative Decree 24/2023.
Given Coopservice's commitment to guarantee confidentiality about the subjects and facts reported, as well as the anonymity of the whistleblowers, so that those who make the report are not subject to any form of retaliation; however, Coopservice encourages the use of the platform as a channel specifically set up to guarantee the confidentiality of the whistleblower and the consequent protection from any retaliatory actions.
Before proceeding to register a whistleblowing report, we invite you to read the Whistleblowing policy, in which are described:
- the prerequisites for making a whistleblowing report and enjoying the protections provided by Legislative Decree 24/2023 (confidentiality, protection from retaliatory measures, limitation of liability)
- the reporting channels available (internal, external and public disclosure)
- the penalty system provided against the whistleblower in case of confirmation of the reported fact, but also for those who act in violation of the reporting procedure.
To ensure complete anonymity of the reporter, it is recommended to report from a personal device via a non-company private network.
